BKB is offering an entry-level position for a Cashier to join its agriculture company. The role involves ensuring customer satisfaction and performing essential cashier duties to support store operations. The Cashier is responsible for greeting customers, handling transactions, maintaining a clean workspace, and efficiently resolving customer complaints.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering or leaving the store
• Maintain transaction records
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with inquiries and locating items
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Quickly and efficiently resolve customer complaints
• Handle payments, ensure accuracy in pricing and quantities, and issue receipts
• Operate electronic devices such as scanners, scales, and cash registers

Qualifications

• Matric qualification
• 2-3 years of experience in retail or sales
• Strong PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (eg scanners, money counters, cash registers)
• Effective communication skills and teamwork ability
• Good time management skills
• Focused on achieving customer satisfaction
• Strong attention to detail and mathematical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including standing, lifting, and walking
• Demonstrates strong sales skills
